With an intimate setting of around 90 students, our school boasts a small teacher-student ratio, fostering a supportive environment for mainstream, transitioning, and special needs students.
Inclusive Education
At Lighthouse Academy, we celebrate diversity and embrace students for who they are. Our inclusive approach encourages students to interact, fostering the development of essential social skills. Parents seeking early intervention programs for their children will find a welcoming space where learning issues are addressed, preparing students for a smooth transition into mainstream schooling.
Holistic Education
Lighthouse Academy is dedicated to providing holistic education for children of all abilities. Our Achiever Students, requiring early intervention from ages 2 or 3, benefit from specialized programs covering self-help skills, sensory integration, strength and endurance, fine and gross motor skills, cognitive development, play, and social interaction. Our curriculum includes activities focused on various developmental milestones, ensuring a well-rounded skill set.
The Achiever Students
For students with learning disabilities, our specialist teachers in Special Education and Psychology implement individualized educational plans (IEP). These sessions address areas such as handwriting, cognitive development, reading comprehension, and concepts like time and money.
Mainstream and Transitioning Students
Lighthouse Academy caters to mainstream students with individualized education based on the IGCSE British Curriculum or the US High School Diploma. Moreover, our transitioning students represent the success of our holistic approach, with Achiever Students seamlessly graduating into the mainstream category. The Merger Program is designed to support this crucial phase of their educational journey.
Schooling Time
Tailored to suit the age of each child, our schooling hours provide a balanced schedule. For six-year-olds, classes are held from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
